• Billing: Every job is concluded with an invoice from Nemaha Handy Services. The invoice is either given in person, emailed, or sent to the desired address. All invoices contain a detailed list of the supplies needed, the hours spent, the work that was done and the totaled mileage.

  • Payments: Currently, payment is done only by checks made payable to Nemaha Handy Services. Payment will be expected at the completion of every job. Checks can be mailed to the business address (2962 I rd Seneca, KS 66538).

  • Mileage: Currently, Nemaha Handy Services charges the IRS self-employed/business mileage rate of the year in which the transaction is done for all miles pertaining to each job. Miles are calculated using the business address, the home owners address and any miles required for picking up supplies.

  • Hourly Rate: Currently, the Nemaha Handy Services hourly rate is $45 per hour and does not include material or mileage expenses. Hours are clocked from the time of departure from the business location (same as business address) to the time of return.

  • Estimates: Currently, Nemaha Handy Services gives Free Estimates on all construction related projects. All estimates are a combination of the material, hours and applicable mileage all of which are carefully calculated. All estimates are estimated as much as possible inclusive of everything that could possibly be needed for the job. If something isn’t needed then the cost is less than what was estimated. Great care is taken to make sure that the actual cost does not exceed the estimated cost. Estimates are guessed higher than actually expected rather than the minimum needed. However, every estimate IS what is asked of the customer to be prepared to spend on the project.
